All writers = amazing and terrible

Sometimes I think I'm an amazing writer, but I'm also a terrible one at the same time. Some people love my stories no matter what. I can move them with my words without meaning to. My words take them to whole new worlds. I bring out another side that doesn't happen often. But - with … Continue reading All writers = amazing and terrible

Stuck in NaNoWriMo

It's easy to get stuck during NaNoWriMo. After writing 31,673 words in 19 days or perhaps even 5,000 words in a few days, what else could be written? The story has a plot, but there's no clear path of where the story is going. I've gotten to this point a lot during this NaNoWriMo. Before … Continue reading Stuck in NaNoWriMo

A reminder for writers

Sometimes a good story doesn't come nor get written quickly. It can seem as if we're sitting for days, waiting for something to happen. But - remember - that something good never pops up instantly. It takes time. After some time passes, you'll see how brilliant your story is and so will others.

Writing origins

I had a … Continue reading Writing origins

Someone’s going to debate the best way to cosplay as one of your characters. Someone’s going to quote you. Someone will have a tattoo of your words. Someone’s going to … Continue reading Writer Motivation

Ideas for the worst?

Sometimes there's only so much that editing can do to improve a story. After editing it over and over, it can seem as if the story isn't going anywhere. This has happened with my stories...if I mention that the story's older. With my newer stories, everyone's always enthusiastic about me editing them again. It's always … Continue reading Ideas for the worst?

Friendly Writing Reminder

To create worlds that no one has ever seen before, we must cry, bleed, and smile. Life isn't just the sunny side. We need a thunderstorm to give others a rainbow. So, if it seems like it's not going your way or that you may not even be able to publish anymore, remember that it's … Continue reading Friendly Writing Reminder
