Editing is essential. As writers, we all need some type of editing. Even me, who is trained in editing, is not the best editor for my own work. There are mistakes that our brains cannot find in our stories, our children. So, editors become our biggest helpers. What's great is that some editors will give … Continue reading One big tip for knowing how you’ve gotten a good editor

The book industry is top heavy, & what does that mean for us?
When you think of your favorite books, where are they from? Penguin? Hachette? HarperCollins? Or are you one of the few who loves indie books? I read from a bit of all four. But something I've noticed is that when I get excited about an indie book, no one knows what I'm talking about. They … Continue reading The book industry is top heavy, & what does that mean for us?
The storm
The storm lit up the clouds. The dark blue sky turned into a musky light gray. Lightning strikes reached from the left to the right like tree branches. But then another strike would grow out smaller, barely reaching out, after that big moment. That last strike is me. Copyright © Robin LeeAnn
Ads around the world

It's almost like a self-hate for my past self even though I know I wasn't as experienced then. A part of me believes … Continue reading Biggest writer worry
Am I writing too big?
Can people dream too big? Is it too much to want to change the world? I thought of doing that early on. I loved every time I made someone smile as a kid. I wanted more of it. Craved it. Writing was my forte out of everything, so I decided to change the world through … Continue reading Am I writing too big?
