Waiting or stalling

Waiting or stalling
I break through a wall
Just to put it back up

I am an ocean
But as calm as a stream
Or as windy as a river

I take a step forward
But my other foot stays still
And I’m not sure why

Is it myself pulling me down
Or is the world dragging me back
Or is the universe letting Earth crumble

Or is nature wanting a reset
A kind of reset without humans
And my body knows before my mind

Waiting or stalling
I break through another wall
And this time, I pause
