A quick update

I got three changes coming to this blog.

One

The major one: starting next week, I’m going to post once a week.

I’ve had a lot of busy weeks this past year. It’s getting hard to keep up with posting all the time, especially with my growing freelance business. I also haven’t had as much time for my other personal hobbies as I would’ve liked. Some of which I haven’t done at all this year.

Posting two times a week has me doing something for this blog every day except Wednesday, which after five years, has gotten to be a lot.

I still enjoy posting, so I’ll be around, just not as often.

Two

At some point, I also will be going through old blog posts (like from many years ago) and deleting some. I’ve noticed that a few have outdated information. The publishing industry has changed a lot over the years—especially with the pandemic—and I don’t want someone to believe that outdated info as fact.

Three

And finally, I most likely will be updating my website’s theme. I’ve noticed that the beige theme I love doesn’t transfer to mobile, which is a bummer. I want to make sure the theme is consistent throughout all platforms.

Update: I fixed the theme for mobile, so I didn’t have to change it.
