A manuscript critique evaluates your story’s strengths and weaknesses. You will receive an editorial letter with a plan of action to bring your story to the next level.
This is a great option if you’re working with a budget.
Copyediting evolves your story from the ground up. Afterward, it will improve in many areas, including:
- Conscious language
- Dialogue tags
- Grammar
- Plot inconsistencies
- POV
- Punctuation
- Repetition
- Telling vs showing
- Tenses
This critical stage helps your story grow.
Proofreading hatches your story into a beautiful piece of art. This final stage fixes any last minute grammar mistakes and glaring errors.
Please note that this is the last editing stage. Your work should be thoroughly edited beforehand.
