I’m not a big fan of social media, but I do get on Pinterest a lot. What I’ve found lately is some random writing ideas.
They could be from pictures of someone’s tumblr asking for representation or just a funny picture I saw. Sometimes it could be a writing aspect to practice or something I had never wrote about before.
I made a secret board for different writing ideas years ago. It’s a good place to refer to if I don’t know what to write about.
I know some people keep a journal of ideas to write about. (Mine is somewhere around here…) But I’ve been using my Pinterest board more recently.
Do you keep your writing ideas somewhere else other than a journal? Do you not even write your writing ideas down? Leave a comment below!
good idea – I tend to write mine down on random scraps of paper, and lose some, win some.

Hopefully you can find the lost ones one day! That’d be a pleasant surprise.

My nonstop medical adventures give me a lot of content! I jot ideas in my phone or else I forget them.

I have jotted some ideas down on my phone before as well. Especially if I’m like out of the house.

I usually record them somewhere like a Google Doc, or a list on my phone. The ideas are always accessible. It’s a pity that the *time* is not the same…

I agree; it is a pity. I wish I had more time in the day to do more writing. But it seems that my ideas list only grows most of the time.

I like to use Microsoft One Note to organize ideas and plan stuff, but I’ve experimented with Scrivner as well.

I’ve never used either of those before. But glad they work for you!
