IRON MAN: A BOOK THAT MADE YOU LAUGH OUT LOUD

To Be or Not To Be: A Chooseable-Path Adventure is a book I always needed throughout school. It’s a big twist off of Hamlet where you get to choose what happens in the story. Or do you?

One of my favorites had Ophelia, as her own strong independent woman, leave Hamlet and Denmark long behind.

It’s a book where you never know how things will turn out, but the sarcasm and endings are worth it. I did a book review of the book on this site as well if you’re interested.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: A BOOK THAT SENDS A POSITIVE MESSAGE

It’s Kind of a Funny Story sends a positive message about not dehumanizing mental health. Mental health is an important topic, but it’s hard to talk about it. This book discussed it well without putting a bad rep on mental illness nor acting like it is great. It talks about it in a realistic way.

It was a book I set down and knew it was going to be one of my favorites.

Honore: The Hate U Give is another great story, but this one covers racism and how parts of America are. I did a review of it on my blog if you want to check it out.

THOR: A BOOK WITH A CHARACTER’S STRENGTH YOU ADMIRE

Lady Midnight has a strong female character that I can’t forget: Emma. Emma takes care of many kids like they are her own, lost her parents in a mysterious accident, had to watch families rip apart in a large war, and more. She doesn’t let people tell her what to do and will tell an authority no. She doesn’t break down in stressful situations, but instead turns on.

She’s someone who will stop at nothing to get what she considers fair.

I also did a book review of this book if you want to know more about it.

BLACK WIDOW: A BOOK WITH A KICK-A** FEMALE PROTAGONIST

The Young Elites is another one with a strong female character, but this one is also someone who just does her own thing the whole time. Instead of being beaten down because of the blood fever and an abusive father, she pushes to have a better life. But throughout the whole series, her journey turns around in many ways because of her.

She changes the world by not giving up on what she believes is her dream.

HULK: A BOOK THAT MADE YOU INCREDIBLY ANGRY

In the Woods made me angry in the sense that it didn’t end at the way I thought it would. It built up this whole plot, just to basically say “no.”

I won’t say much to give it away, but it wasn’t an ending I felt was right.

HAWKEYE: AN UNDERRATED BOOK YOU THINK MORE PEOPLE SHOULD PAY ATTENTION TO

I read I am the Messenger years after reading The Book Thief. This author is known for The Book Thief, but I feel like I am the Messenger is an amazing story that not many people know about. It was a book that I couldn’t put down and thought about for weeks after I finished it. The end even has a twist that brings the story pleasantly together. It’s a heartwarming story but also a funny one.

It was a story that stayed with me even after I finished it.

*BONUS* LOKI: A BOOK WITH A TWIST OR SURPRISE THAT TRICKED YOU

Daytripper is a wild story that confused me after the first chapter ends because the main character dies. What happens after that? How can the main character die and then somehow he is also alive and older later on? It somehow wasn’t a shock that turned me away, but rather made me want to know more about the interesting story.

It is also a well drawn out story with vivid colors and is surprisingly a random textbook I decided to keep.

      1. That’s a really hard question! I don’t know how to answer it ahaha I have many favorites for many reasons. I love Loki because he’s such a complicated character (and hello? Tom Hiddleston.) I guess the original avengers are my favorites but I still like the newest additions like Black Panther. Do you have a favorite character? Did you enjoy Engame?

        1. My overall favorite is Hawkeye, so Endgame was great. But there are also other awesome characters. I relate to Gamora’s story a lot personally. Spiderman is more relatable and funny now than other Spidermans before.

Loved endgame though. I didn’t think they gave Black Widow her justice (like where’s her funeral?) but it was a good story and didn’t feel that long.

          1. Hawkeye is great, Gamora has an interesting arc and Spiderman is the sweetest (looking forward to the movie btw!) I had a lot of issues with Endgame, what you say about Nat being one of them, but I also enjoyed it immensely and cried like a baby all the wA
            ay through it.

            1. I don’t think they could’ve made a perfect movie with Endgame though. There were too many different expectations. They at least made it emotional.

I’m looking forward to the new spiderman too! I’m seeing it out of town while I’m on vacation. We made time for it. Lol

              1. I know and I agree, it was impossible to tie every single knot. I still loved it and I think a lot of it was fan service (which I appreciated). Let me know what you think about Spiderman! I would’ve done the same thing Lol.
