Managing stress is essential for any job. It’s hard to balance work (even if it’s more like a hobby) with life in general. It can feel as if it’s impossible to get everything done. While listening to Ear Biscuits the other day, I heard a great quote about that:
“It’s probably the case that feeling like something is impossible means you’re doing exactly what you should be doing. Because if you’re not doing something that makes you feel like you’re doing something impossible—if you’re not doing something that makes you think that you can’t—you’re probably doing something that isn’t worth doing at all.” — Rhett
Writing a novel can seem impossible. But so is creating a great painting or making a great poem that people will remember. Making anything artistic can feel impossible. But that also means you’re doing what you need to do.
Nothing worth it is easy.
I like to challenge myself to do something that seems impossible. I think the trick is believing in yourself

I like to do the same. Challenges are the best.
