Even though it may seem so, you’re not alone when you write a query letter. I listed some websites to help you write the best query before.
- Query Shark is a website written by a literary agent. She has hundreds of query letter examples show how to write and edit a query letter. She also has some great examples of queries that worked.
- Query Connect is a forum about query letters. Writers, from all over, come together to edit each other’s queries. It’s a great resource to get opinions about your query. This site has been the best resource for my query experience.
- Critique Circle is mainly for writers to critique each other’s stories, but it also has a query letter forum. From experience, I don’t get as many critiques from here as I do on Query Connect, but there are some helpful critics.
